I took some fish and chips for takeaway, and oh. my. goodness. it was soooo delicious. i woild definetly recommend this to takeaway and eat in on the beach :). also the employees were super nice and they took their time.

Lovely restaurant in Porto Azzurro with a nice view of the marina if you sit at the terrace. Friendly personnel and delicious food (I fell in love with the pesto with calamari). Also pets are allowed, even inside

This restaurant is at an amazing location. You can see the ocean right from your table. I tried Spaghetti Carbonara and they were the best I‘ve ever ate in an Italian restaurant. I recommend „La Taverna“ to everyone who is in Porti Azzurro.

Das Essen super authentische italienische Küche. Die Pizza war die beste des Urlaubs. Wenn man abends zum Essen geht ab 4 Personen unbedingt reservieren. Wir waren zu 10 ohne Reservierung, das haben sie in einer halben Stunde geschafft uns einen Platz zu geben. Respekt! Die Zeit konnten wir uns am Platz schnell vertreiben. Located right in the center of Porto Azzuro's square. The seating is lovely under large umbrellas. The kids can run and play there. The service is very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The food is super authentic Italian. The pizza was the best of the holiday. If you're going out for dinner in the evening, make sure you reserve for four or more people. There were ten of us without reservations, and they managed to seat us in half an hour. Respect! We were able to quickly pass the time in the square. We'd go back anytime!

Wir mochten den freundlichen Service und das schöne Ambiente. Glücklicherweise konnten wir draußen am Platz mit schönem Blick auf den Hafen sitzen. Die Muscheln und die Spaghetti Vongole und Carbonara waren sehr lecker.

Abbiamo cenato in questo bel ristorante/pizzeria ieri sera (17 luglio). Frittura abbondante e buonissima, tonno alla griglia semplicemente top. Prezzi decisamente onesti anche visto la posizione del locale nella piazzetta centrale di Porto Azzurro. Anche la pizza, vedendo i tavoli vicini, sembrava davvero molto invitante. Consiglio vivamente!

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant/pizzeria last night (July 17th). The fried food was plentiful and delicious, and the grilled tuna was simply top-notch. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the restaurant's location in Porto Azzurro's main square. The pizza, too, looked very inviting, considering the tables were close together. I highly recommend it!

Cibo buono in pieno centro Abbiamo soggiornato all’isola d’Elba per una breve vacanza, una sera siamo stati in questo ristorante, dove abbiamo potuto apprezzare dei piatti buoni e ben cucinati. La materie prime sono di ottima qualità, e i piatti ben cucinati. Personale molto attento e gentile. Suggerisco una cenetta per chi si ferma qualche giorno a Porto Azzurro

Ristorante che affaccia sulla piazza di Porto Azzurro , cibo buonissimo e personale cordiale solo l’attesa un po’ lunga ma spero solo perché i tavoli erano pieni. Però consigliatissimo l’attesa passa in secondo tempo nel momento in cui assapori le pietanze. Ci ritornerò senz’altro l’anno prossimo.. le 4 stelle per il servizio è dato solo per le tempistiche ma come dicevo trascurabile .

However highly recommended, the wait passes into second place when you taste the dishes. I will definitely return next year.. the 4 stars for the service is given only for the timing but as I said negligible.
